Why can't Winter Warmer be available all year. Without reservation I have to say that Winter Warmer is THE best beer I have had in 30 years of drinking!!! The best!

I like it as well......... the time it takes to make would make it difficult to fit into the schedule for a year round beer. Sorry :-(

Thanks for your support!

Cheers - Fritz Rahr

What are the chances of bottling some of the barrel aged winter warmer? Maybe in some 22 oz bombers and distributing to local beer/liquor stores?

We are thinking about it!!!!!!

I'd like to report that there are apparently Winter Warmer thieves hijacking your trucks before they get to the stores --- I'm not finding it ANYWHERE!
Alternatively, it may be possible that you just can't make it fast enough --- I'll keep looking.

My local beer mart had a tasting of Rahr beers, so I tried the Warmer even though I don't generally care for winter styles. It tastes more like a porter to me than what I would expect from a winter beer, which is perfectly fine by me as I'm not crazy about all the spice that seems to be in winter beer. The ABV is a bonus. Very tasty brew - so much so that's it's the first winter sixer I've bought in probably 10 years.

Also will any be available on Tap on the Saturday tour? If so when?

I have loved Rahr since the moment I tasted the fine Brew but I have got to say this years 2010 Burbon Winter Warmer took my breath away, it's like sipping on a little piece of paradise. It's the only thing about winter (outside of football) I enjoy. So maybe it should only be around once a year so there is always something to live for.
