Brewery Tour

The Rahr family has been making beer for generations.
In fact, the Rahr family started making beer in the United States before Fort Worth was founded.

Rahr BrewhouseIt started in 1847 when William Rahr immigrated from Germany to Wisconsin and built the Rahr Brewery on the banks of the Manitowoc River. In 2004, his great-great-grandson and namesake, Frederick William "Fritz" Rahr, Jr., and partners followed suit, building the current brewery on South Main Street in Fort Worth.

You're invited to take a tour and see how the Rahr brewing team makes beer. Watch the fascinating, automated, high-speed labeler slap labels on hundreds of bottles a minute. Marvel at the large fermenting tanks. Check out some cool Rahr memorabilia. And best of all, taste some cold Rahr beer.

It really is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Rahr's Tour & Tasting is every Saturday 1pm – 3pm. We feature live music, BBQ and award winning beer. Hope to see you there!
