...no tour/tasting this week. But, the weather in Fort Worth has been so lovely the last couple of days, we recommend taking your Saturday afternoon and spending it on the patio of a bar or restaurant that serves Rahr beer. Please do this for us, because we'll be busy inside the brewery painting and sweeping and caulking and scrubbing - and thinking of you enjoying your Rahr in the sunshine and cool-ish breeze will make all our hard work easier. But it's not about that ever-moving reopening date. While we’re waiting for more info about when we’ll open our doors (and our taps) to the public again, we would like to re-introduce you to the best looking Blonde we know.

Of course we’re talking about our Blonde Lager - but now it has been made even better with an upgraded label that features…drum roll, please… Fritz Rahr’s gorgeous mother, Jody! You see, back before Fritz was even a twinkle in her eye, Jody was a model and we were lucky enough to find an image of her that worked perfectly with our new logo and new label style. We’re not sure how many other people have both their sons and their mother featured prominently on their beer labels, but Fritz has always said this is a family brewery so we couldn’t imagine it any other way around here.
